I'm happy to say that the past few weeks have been a whirlwind of busyness and excitement; getting the official video tutorials together, working on the eBook and hopping around different film sets. Needless to say today's post will be short and sweet!
Use a flesh-colored eyeliner in your waterline.
You've probably heard of using a white pencil, have you tried it? The other day a sweet young woman was asking me for tips to open up her smaller eyes, and mentioned that using white liner made her "look like a crazy alien." I have to agree with her assessment. A good flesh colored pencil is such a quick and simple way to open up smaller and/or tired eyes. Mine tend to get very red, and toning down the brightness of the waterline makes a huuuuuge difference.
Several brands now make a flesh colored pencil: NYX, Rimmel, Mac, etc. My favorite one hands down is the Rimmel Scandal Eyes Pencil in Nude.
The color is great for light to medium skin tones, it's creamy and easy to apply and it lasts as well as anything can last in the waterline (it is a wet area after all.)
That's it for today! I am SO EXCITED to share the things I'm working on with you (can you say tutorials on contouring and winged eyeliner in the future?)
