Several online reviews of this foundation had me excited, and it saddens me to say that I am not into it. At all.
Verdict: 1 out of 5 stars.
Here's a side by side comparison of the Physician's Formula Nude Wear Touch of Glow Foundation in Light (on the right) with the Temptu S/B Foundation in #004 (on the left):
I swatched the foundations on my very fair inner wrist area, that way you can really see the colors against my skin. They both look a little crazy because they are obviously too dark, but the color on the left is actually a GORGEOUS neutral beige for light/medium skin tones. But can we talk about how the Nude Wear Touch of Glow is like straight up Salmon colored? It's so pink! Grrrr. I know that when it's applied over skin that isn't too fair (like my wrist) and it's sheered down and blended, it can look fine, but that's as far as I would take it: it looks fine. Not great! I honestly think the good reviews of this are just people that have never experienced how beautiful and natural a perfectly matched neutral toned foundation can look. Unfortunately this foundation isn't really unique in it's weird salmonness, so I think a lot of women are just used to this sort of shade. It is a sad thing, and it's why I am ranting and giving this 1 star. The end.
See you in a couple days!
