My ebook is done (in editing now-WOOOOOOO) so I am back on my youtube train, and with a whole spiffy new setup that I built with my bare hands y'all.
I'm kicking things off with a steal VS splurge smackdown between the Urban Decay Naked and the Maybelline Age Rewind under eye concealers. Spoiler alert: I 100% found my all time favorite concealer for dark circles while making this video.
Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer: 4.25 out of 5. I'm docking points for the fact that is does settle into my fine lines (though admittedly still less than most concealers,) and the color selection is a little odd for deep skin tones. Other than that, it is a fantastic concealer. It's a great option for covering blemishes because it doesn't have any shimmer.
Maybelline Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Treatment Concealer: 4.5 out of 5. This formula is a 5 out of 5 but I had to deduct for the minimal color options and animal testing. Get some more shades and become cruelty free Maybelline! I also wish the dispenser was a wand instead of a sponge, because 1. gross and 2. It's not very precise. BUT it still works and I love the concealer so much that I'm willing to look the other way. Seriously, this is the most perfect concealer formula I have ever seen, period. I'm so impressed-it's going to be my go-to under eye concealer for a long time. Both concealers I tested had amazing coverage in an amazingly lightweight formula, but the Maybelline just had the edge with longevity. I've never seen a concealer have this combination of great coverage+lightweight and blendable formula+creaseless wearability. Well done!
