Today I'm doing a first impressions of the ELF Mad for Matte Eyeshadow Palette! Will it be the best matte eyeshadow palette at the drugstore?
Verdict: 3.7 out of 5 stars. I wish it had a more thought out color selection, and better pigmentation across the board, but it's cruelty free and very affordable. Most of the shadows were pigmented and blendable, though they didn't have a lot of "grab" meaning that the color pay off wasn't as good because the powder didn't want to stick to my eyelid. Using the Thank Me Later Eye Shadow Primer by Elizabeth Mott helped. The shades that are good are much better than other drugstore matte shadows I've seen making it worth the price if you are on a budget and looking for some basic matte shadows.
Also, have you purchased my book yet? You should do that.
PS: This post contains amazon affiliate links. If you purchase something using the links provided I get a small percentage of the sale at no extra cost to you. This only applies to amazon links, and does not influence my recommendations at all :). I do my best to always post links for the best price, and if there is a better price somewhere other than amazon that is where I will link (keeping in mind that prices change on different websites, so I can't guarantee that my links will always be the best price.) Thank you for your support!
